Funny story, one of a few cities in Thailand that Western food almost feels like you eating it in a western land, Pattaya! Not too surprising though, a lot of foreigners both live here permanently and traveling through. Lots of nightlife (not currently), lots of hotels and resorts, but most importantly what I focus on are lots of cafes and restaurants!
Thai food is good, of course, it's still Thailand even though some part doesn't look like it anymore. The western food, even better. Burgers, pizza, pasta, just to name a few. Today, I'm sharing this one burger place that I found quite pleasant and a few of my foreign foodie friends also say the same thing about this place. It's one of the best burger in town! It's actually a real burger!
Prime burger is located in Soi Buakhao, a long alley that's almost like a center of all nightlife here in Pattaya. Lots of food, lots of booze. Prime burger is somewhere half way just right across the street from TreeTown, another landmark. Always wanted to come here but never really in a mood plus, they really sell it 'western price'.
The other day, my dad drive me back to Pattaya so I wanted to treat him a nice worthy meal so I took him there. Didn't really expect the decoration inside will be something like a sport bar. This reminded me of a place I used to work in Vancouver, Canada (Yup, also a sport bar). You don't see this kind of place so often unless you're in the area where a lot of foreigners are just like around here. The place looks clean, decent decorated and really just feels cozy.
Everything is branded as well. Water bottles, glasses, napkins and coasters.
Quite cute how they name all their burgers after cities around the globe, New York, Bangkok, Paris, Dubai, Stockholm, London, San Francisco, and Ayia Napa. I went straight to Bangkok once because it sounds most like home and yes, the pickled jalape帽o actually sounds good!
There're also sets you can choose from. Pick one double burger of your choice with a side dish. I went with Bangkok & Jalape帽o poppers and dad went with Stockholm with regular fries.
When the burgers are served, dad was shocked for seconds how big the meal was! He's real Asian, never really travel abroad much as well as, never been in one of this kind of restaurants in Thailand so yeah, that was not what he expected. He snapped shots even more than me even though he's not gonna make a Hive post like I do #lol

Even though I asked for 'medium' cooked and didn't get much of the pink of a patty off my burger, still, it was juicy and delicious. Melted cheese and just the right amount of veggies. Next time I will make sure I insist enough so I get what I want.
I got jalape帽o poppers with my set. Really had high expectation for that. It's great! but can't really finish because it's quite heavy. Imagine the deep fried bits stuffed with lots of cheese.. Oyyy, a few were already more than enough.
The fries that my dad got, on the other hand, OMG!!! Their are one of the BEST fries I have ever had! Not sure if it's fresh cut like IN'n OUT burger but it gives me the same feeling BUT much better than IN' n OUT. This one is crispy outside, and just the right texture from the inside.
Daddy not used to western food so he had a hard time finishing the meal. Though, I'm sure he liked it A LOT because I did! The burger was great and I hate to say this but I think I like the fries even more!!
