Hi there. A short food post here. I visit this burger joint called RUDY in the east end of Toronto. This was a late lunch after a Pokemon prerelease tournament event.
About RUDY
RUDY is a Toronto burger franchise that started in 2016. They do a small menu with cheeseburgers, fried chicken, fries cooked in beef tallow and poutine with authentic cheese curds.
I visit the one at Danforth Ave.
Valentino Chicken Burger
I try to avoid cheese when I can. Cheeseburger was not an option for me. I went with their Valentino Chicken Burger.
This burger is loaded. You got a big fried chicken with a bunch of coleslaw at the bottom of the burger. For around 13 CAD, this burger does have good value. A great alternative to McDonalds, Chick Fil-A, Shake Shack and other fast food franchises.
The chicken was moist but there was not too much flavour.
Overall I though the burger was okay. If I am near a RUDY location in Toronto, I would consider this place. It as not really busy and the service was friendly.
