If you're reading this post, Congratulations!
You survived another year. I'm wondering what happened this year. The year following the great pandemic.
The year after many survived illness and even the loss of life of family and friends. Two of my aunts passed away quietly with just their children with them at nursing homes in 2021. My father survived covid and double pneumonia early in 2021. The isolation most likely added to all of their illnesses.
This year I spent waiting for Canada to reopen the border so I could visit my best friend from high school at her new home. Finally, the border opened in October and we visited in November. I returned to Canada Thanksgiving weekend to spend quality girl time, relax in her hot tub, and study the scriptures.
This past summer I spent trying to heal a sprained ankle acquired the previous fall using my treadmill. The ankle seems to have healed. I used the treadmill for the first time since healing last week. I pray for more exercise days in 2023.
This past year was a year of spiritual growth and spiritual struggle.
My faith revived and I've experienced a renewed appreciation for God and the blessing of faith in His Word.
I have many unanswered prayers. This coming year will be a year of prayer and serving others, by the grace of God. This coming year I enter with faith knowing that I can do all required of me because He is with me.
