This is crazy. I'm listening to Pump by Aerosmith.

Let's imagine then, a big roundabout.

I'm going to take my car and just keep driving around the roundabout. Onwards and onwards. Not stopping.

Perfect. It means I don't have to go anywhere today. Just round and round and round the roundabout.

Reaching Song 4 now of the Aerosmith album.

Round and round. It's a big roundabout so I won't get dizzy.

Then, all of a sudden, I need to stop.

“Who put that traffic light there?”

But, there it is. It doesn't matter. It won't stay red forever.

A chance to reflect. A chance to consider; shall I stay on the roundabout or shall I venture somewhere else?

The light turns green. Round and round and round I go again.

I know where I'm going and I know where I'm not going.

Eventually, though, I'm going to need to stop for food.

But for now, round and round and round I go. Song 5 now. “The Other Side.” There's no other side to this roundabout; or any other roundabout.

Another red light. This time, I can see there's a path in the diameter of the roundabout. Some benches.

A place to stop for food, maybe.

“Shall I stop for food?” I ask myself, out loud. By the way, this does not constitute talking to myself. I'm not mad.

I say it again.

“Shall I stop for food?”

The music stops; and my phone goes into some weird AI mode.

“Yes, stop for food, but, more importantly; please get off this fucking roundabout.”
