Getting married made me very nervous

I definitely remember being really nervous when I got married to my beautiful wife. It was my very first wedding in my whole life , so I had no idea what to expect. Getting married felt like such a huge life step that it made me super anxious. I just could not believe this moment I had dreamed of was finally happening.
In the months leading up to my wedding, I was excited but at the same time I was also really jittery. My stomach was constantly in knots thinking about everything that could go wrong during the occasion,What if the cake was not right or my dress got ruined? What if I tripped walking down the aisle? All kinds of worried scenarios went through my head and they all made me restless.
The day before the ceremony was the worst of the whole thing, I could barely eat or sleep because my nerves were going haywire. I triple checked everything was prepared perfectly for the big day. No detail could be overlooked for my special moment. But that made me even more on edge trying to control everything my self.
The morning of the wedding I felt so nauseous and shaky. As my bridal party helped me get ready with my haircut, some simple makeup as a man and dress, I was sweating bullets and I almost felt like I might pass out. I was so lightheaded from anxiety. This was one of the biggest moments of my life and I will never forget that in my life .
The ride to the ceremony was a blur. I felt dizzy and kept asking if I looked okay and if we had forgotten anything. Walking down the aisle, my knees wobbled so badly I thought I might collapse. Seeing all eyes on me as I joined my wife at the altar had my heart racing like crazy,I didn't even know what to do.
As the ceremony began, I tried taking deep breaths to calm my short nerves. But it was hard to focus on anything except not ruining my vows or passing out. Every second felt magnified. When it came time to exchange rings, my hands trembled wildly and I couldn't get myself.

Finally the ceremony ended and the reception started. I managed not to trip or drop anything, so that was a success!and I was very happy about the success. During our first dance, the familiarity of my new wife helped settle my buzzing nerves slightly. But I don't remember much else due to feeling completely overwhelmed by everything.
Looking back now, I know all those nerves were just because of the unknown. Once the wedding was over, I felt so much better! The anticipation is always worse than the event itself. And marrying my wife was one of the best things I've ever done, even if the wedding itself felt scary at the time.
The morning preparations helped distract me slightly from my anxious thoughts. As my bridegroom laughed and chatted while doing my haircut and makeup, it lightened my mood a bit. Their fun energy rubbed off on me.
When my mom came to check on me, she could instantly tell how nervous I was. She gave me a pep talk about taking deep breaths and living in the moment. Then she hugged me tight, reminding me this was all part of something beautiful. Her words of wisdom comforted me.
Waiting at the back of the church before processing down the aisle, I peeked around at the decorations. Seeing everything looking just how I'd dreamed eased my mind slightly. My wedding planner touched my shoulder reassuringly, sensing my unease.
As I walked down the aisle on my father's arm, I tried to forget the crowd and just focus on my soon-to-be wife . Seeing her smile and tears of joy when she saw me reminded me this day was about our love.
Our photographer managed to capture some pictures of me mid-ceremony that show just how anxious I looked! Seeing those photos now makes me laugh. I can look back fondly knowing it was just nerves that have long passed.
Though feeling scared at first, when the pastor pronounced us husband and wife, pure joy replaced any remaining jitters. This was really happening! I was so grateful to have my best friend by my side to experience it all together. Starting our married life was a dream come true.
