Buenos días, querida comunidad. Aquí desde mi casa en Argentina les quiero mostrar una modificación en la habitación que actualmente tiene mi padre, en lo que fue alguna vez la habitación mía y de mi hermano.
Good morning, dear community. Here from my home in Argentina, I want to show you a modification to my father's current bedroom, which was once my brother's and my room.
Mi padre obtuvo una de las habitaciones más grandes de la casa. El tema es que tenía mal amueblado dicha habitación. Por eso decidí modernizarla y pintarla. Yo soy de las personas que prefieren pocos muebles o que estén en un lugar donde se pueda pasar la escoba y ya está limpio.
Mi padre confió completamente de mis ideas y me dio vía libre a que hiciera lo que yo considere lo mejor para su nuevo dormitorio.
My father got one of the largest rooms in the house. The problem was that he had poorly furnished it. So I decided to modernize and paint it. I'm one of those people who prefers minimal furniture or a place where you can sweep it and it's clean.
My father completely trusted my ideas and gave me free rein to do whatever I thought was best for his new bedroom.
Las paredes estaban pintadas de un amarillo muy clarito que, por culpa de la humedad, se veía como con esmog. Realice una buena limpieza con agua y jabón, reparé las zonas que estaban en malas condiciones y comencé a darle cuatro manos de pintura blanca. El resultado está a la vista. Quedó súper luminosa la habitación y ahora quedaba acomodar los nuevos muebles y ménsulas colgantes.
The walls were painted a very light yellow that, due to the humidity, looked smoggy. I did a thorough cleaning with soap and water, repaired the areas that were in poor condition, and began applying four coats of white paint. The result is evident. The room was super bright, and now it was time to install the new furniture and hanging brackets.
Para que mi padre tenga más espacio y pueda limpiar más fácil su habitación, solo le dejé dos muebles para sus ropas y cositas, y las dos mesas grandes que tenían el televisor y el equipo de audio, ahora ya no existen más, ya que los coloqué de manera flotante contra la pared. Esto hizo que tenga un ahorro de espacio, además de hacer la vista mucho más moderna.
Al principio a mi padre le costó adaptarse, pero luego vio los beneficios de tener optimizado el espacio en donde vive.
Yo, por mi parte, quedé muy conforme con el enorme trabajo que realicé y ahora voy a disfrutarlo junto a él.

To give my father more space and make it easier to clean his room, I left him only two pieces of furniture for his clothes and odds and ends, and the two large tables that held the TV and stereo are no longer there, as I placed them floating against the wall. This saved space and made the room look much more modern.
At first, my father had a hard time adjusting, but then he saw the benefits of optimizing the space where he lives.
For my part, I was very pleased with the enormous work I did and now I'm going to enjoy it with him.
