Saint Nicholas day. Hurray. Presents, mainly home made, kruidnoten, pepernoten, marzipan, chocolate letters
St. Nicholas comes and goes. We are some great presents richer.
Look what Saint Nicholas gave me. I will watch this one as soon as the holidays start.
We have had our longest night and from now on the days will get longer. It is true we talk about minutes but it is Midwinter!
Time for (wal)nuts and to slow down. The school holidays start and I am so happy about that. No need to get out of bed at 4 am for about two weeks!
Time for father winter. I hope he moves on.
I planned nothing. I will enjoy nothing. I will cook nothing and am grateful I have no visitors and need to go nowhere!
Let's keep it simple. This is our life. No one will rule or force us.
I intend to bake "oliebollen" and "applebeignets". For the rest is will be common days. The only count down we have is going back to school again.
No lists with goals to set. We know what we go for, our intentions and it is " me first" for each of us.
