I usually visit this park for a very practical reason. There is WiFi here, and since I often need to connect to Hive to publish my posts, using the park's WiFi helps me save my mobile data. It has become one of those small routines that are part of my Hive days.
On this particular visit, however, I got an unexpected company. Two wild pigeons came quite close to where I was sitting. They are used to seeing people around the park, although normally they do not approach me this closely. I had my phone with me, so naturally I took the opportunity to photograph them.
Taking pictures was not as easy as it might seem. The ground in this part of the park is mostly gray, and the pigeons have very similar gray tones in their plumage. That made it difficult to get much contrast between the birds and their surroundings. Still, I liked the moment because they were right there, calmly walking around as if my presence meant nothing to them.
Sometimes a simple visit to connect to Hive turns into a small opportunity to observe the life happening around us. I was expecting nothing more than a place to use WiFi, and I ended up with two feathered visitors in front of my camera.

Normalmente visito este parque por una razón muy práctica. Aquí hay WiFi y, como muchas veces necesito conectarme a Hive para publicar mis posts, utilizar el WiFi del parque me ayuda a ahorrar los datos móviles. Se ha convertido en una de esas pequeñas rutinas que forman parte de mis días de Hive.

Eso hacía difícil conseguir mucho contraste entre las aves y su entorno. Aun así, me gustó el momento porque estaban allí mismo, caminando tranquilamente como si mi presencia no significara nada para ellas.
A veces una simple visita para conectarse a Hive termina convirtiéndose en una pequeña oportunidad para observar la vida que ocurre a nuestro alrededor. Yo esperaba solamente encontrar un lugar donde utilizar el WiFi y terminé teniendo dos visitantes emplumadas delante de mi cámara.
