While walking through the main pool area of the hotel, I came across a shadow that immediately caught my attention. It belonged to one of the largest shade pergola in the hotel, a structure that is usually part of the vibrant life of this place.
These days, my walks through the hotel have become routine, almost repetitive, as we wait for a change that could bring tourism back. The spaces that were once full of movement now feel quieter, but they still hold traces of what they used to be.
The shade pergola itself is beautiful, and its shadow on the ground was even more interesting. It stretched across the area with a clear shape, turning a simple structure into a striking visual element under the sun. I decided to capture it and bring it to this Shadow Hunters contest, because even in stillness, there is always something worth noticing.
Even if tourism is currently paused, at least the shadows are still active, still present, and still telling their own story. If nothing else is moving, the light continues to create moments like this, and perhaps that is enough to keep sharing what we see.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga
Caminando por el área de la piscina principal del hotel, me encontré con una sombra que llamó mi atención de inmediato. Pertenecía a una de las marquesinas más grandes del hotel, una estructura que normalmente forma parte de la vida activa de este lugar.
Por estos días, los recorridos por el hotel se han vuelto rutinarios, casi repetitivos, mientras esperamos un cambio que permita la reapertura del turismo en el país. Los espacios que antes estaban llenos de movimiento ahora se sienten más silenciosos, pero aún conservan huellas de lo que fueron.
La marquesina en sí es bonita, y su sombra sobre el suelo lo era aún más. Se extendía con una forma bien definida, convirtiendo una estructura simple en un elemento visual interesante bajo el sol. Decidí capturarla y traerla a este concurso de sombras, porque incluso en la quietud siempre hay algo que vale la pena observar.
Aunque el turismo esté detenido por ahora, al menos las sombras siguen activas, presentes y contando su propia historia. Si nada más se mueve, la luz sigue creando momentos como este, y quizás eso sea suficiente para seguir compartiendo lo que vemos.
