A Reflection Found While Chasing Birds
Un reflejo encontrado mientras perseguía aves
I was at the hotel pool trying to photograph some birds that were moving around the area. Unfortunately, they did not let me get close enough for the photograph I wanted. But while I was trying, I noticed something else that caught my attention: the crystal-clear pool water was reflecting part of the central buffet and the pool bar.
Estaba en la piscina del hotel intentando fotografiar unas aves que se movían por los alrededores. Por desgracia, no me permitieron acercarme lo suficiente para conseguir la fotografía que quería. Pero mientras lo intentaba, descubrí algo que llamó mi atención: el agua cristalina de la piscina estaba reflejando parte del bufete central y del bar de la piscina.
Sometimes, when we go looking for one photograph, we end up finding another. The birds escaped my camera that day, but the calm water gave me this beautiful reflection instead. I liked the way the buildings appeared on the surface, almost as if the pool had become a mirror.
A veces, cuando salimos en busca de una fotografía, terminamos encontrando otra. Ese día las aves escaparon de mi cámara, pero el agua tranquila me regaló este hermoso reflejo. Me gustó la forma en que las edificaciones aparecían sobre la superficie, casi como si la piscina se hubiera convertido en un espejo.
The photos were taken with my mobile phone, and for the English version I used Google Translate.
