It's been a long time since I've visited this community, even though I still have six more Harry Potter books to review. It's been a pleasure reading this legendary novel. But of course, the review will come later. I want to move on to another novel first.
The title of this novel is 'Halte Alam Baka' (The Afterlife Stop), written by an Indonesian author. I never expected her to have such a brilliant idea. Just looking at the cover made me feel like I was looking at the covers of Japanese fiction novels. As I delved into each word, I felt like I was watching a fictional Korean drama. This isn't an exaggeration; I truly loved the author's approach to this theme.
Halte Alam Baka tells the story of a mysterious bus stop that often appears when someone is feeling desperate due to the trials of life. Julian, a journalist who handles readers' letters, initially thought it was just nonsense. However, there was more than one witness; several readers began to describe the bus stop, which had the same characteristics—a red color and a grandmother sitting knitting. Julian finally asked for the phenomenon to be investigated.
Who would have thought that investigating Halte Alam Baka would lead him to many secrets that had never been revealed.
This novel is told in flashback style, so it will require your full concentration. At least it did for me. Throughout the pages, I was intrigued by the author's attempt to convey something.
This novel is told simply, with every word easily digested, making you want to linger. I finished it in just two days. I read it all night and the next day. That's in hours; I probably didn't even spend 24 hours reading it. So, yes, I loved this book.
Anyway... I rate this book with 4,5 from 5 start; Meaningfull!
Have you read this book? What do you think?
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
