These curves are particularly sharp on the stretch between the town of Santa Fe and Guanta, and visibility regarding oncoming traffic is often poor, making it important to drive carefully along this route.
Mientras recorríamos la carretera, tuve la oportunidad de admirar el hermoso paisaje e incluso hice algunas paradas para tomar fotografías. As we drove along the road, I had the chance to admire the beautiful scenery and even made a few stops to take photos. Upon arriving at Playa Colorada, I noticed a nearby recreational area or court where various activities for children and young people take place—especially during the holiday season.
Playa Colorada itself offers incredible landscapes, with mountains rising up on one side. The photos show the beach entrance—a path leading from the main highway to this popular spot for those who love the beach and connecting with nature. Like most beaches in the area, it offers amenities for visitor comfort, including canopy and hut rentals, boat rides, and food—primarily seafood dishes. What I liked most was the presence of palm trees; together with other vegetation, they create a pleasant space to enjoy the shade and the cool sea breeze. Rental homes are also located nearby, allowing visitors to stay overnight and make the most of the beach experience.
