Hello friends of Worldmapping, I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. It's a pleasure to share with you a recent Hive boat trip to one of the beaches in the renowned Mochima National Park, located in eastern Venezuela.
Para este viaje me fui con los amigos de Golfo Tours, ya había viajado anteriormente con ellos a Caripe y me pareció excelente todo, los recomiendo al 100%.
For this trip I went with the friends from Golfo Tours, I had already traveled with them to Caripe before and I thought everything was excellent, I recommend them 100%.
Empezamos muy temprano el día esperando nuestro transporte en la plaza Miranda de Cumaná. De allí nos fuimos a la comunidad de Pamatacualito, allí se encuentra un pequeño muelle donde salen las embarcaciones para distintas playas como Isla de Plata, Punta la Cruz y Playa El Faro, está última era nuestro destino por el día hoy.
We started the day very early, waiting for our transport in Plaza Miranda in Cumaná. From there we went to the community of Pamatacualito, where there is a small dock from which boats depart for different beaches such as Isla de Plata, Punta la Cruz, and Playa El Faro; the latter was our destination for the day.
Durante el paseo en barco, el guía nos sorprendió al pasar por un lugar poco conocido por los viajeros en Mochima, una especie de cueva inmensa ubicada en medio del parque nacional.
During the boat trip, the guide surprised us by passing through a place little known to travelers in Mochima, a kind of immense cave located in the middle of the national park.
Al llegar a Playa El Faro nos dimos cuenta que habían pocas personas para ser un fin de semana, aunque al transcurrir las horas empezaron a llegar muchas personas y poco a poco también mas botes y yates de la zona de puerto la cruz y lecherías, las cuales quedan cerca de la playa.
Upon arriving at Playa El Faro, we realized that there were few people for a weekend, although as the hours passed, many people began to arrive, and little by little more boats and yachts from the Puerto La Cruz and Lecherías area, which are close to the beach, also arrived.
Una de las primeras actividades que hicimos al llegar a la playa fue subir a lo más alto de la montaña donde se encontraba el Faro, las vistas allá arriba son increíbles. Es importante acotar que solo puedes subir junto con un guía especializado que te guiará durante el recorrido.
One of the first things we did when we arrived at the beach was climb to the top of the mountain where the lighthouse is located; the views up there are incredible. It's important to note that you can only go up with a specialized guide who will lead you on the tour.
Playa El Faro cuenta con los servicios de toldos y sillas, así como también baños y una amplia variedad de comidas en su restaurante, que lo puedes pedir desde tu yate y ellos te lo llevan si ningún problema.
El Faro Beach offers awnings and chairs, as well as restrooms and a wide variety of food in its restaurant, which you can order from your yacht and they will bring it to you without any problem.
