Today, I have reached over 10000 Hive Power which was the next milestone for me on HIVE. I have been a member of HIVE for almost eight years. Considering this period, I should have had much more HP; however, I have reached my goals step by step in recent years. I think that setting HP goal for myself is important in terms of motivation and consistency. For sure, I have not done this period, which is almost seven years old membership, to the fullest. I had dropped by HIVE from time to time and shared some posts until the middle of 2021, but I have never left HIVE.
I had mentioned that my activity on HIVE would decrease starting in 2025. That has indeed been the case; in fact, we are now nearing the end of 2026. I have spent this period primarily reading and upvoting posts on HIVE. My most recent post was also about reaching a specific HIVE Power. With the decline in the price of HIVE, it seems that many people have left the HIVE. I have been keeping the interest received from my HBD savings account in my HBD saving account. This time, I reached another another goal of mine on HIVE, 10,000 HIVE Power, in 10 months. It seems that the bear market for cryptocurrencies, and for HIVE in particular, is set to continue for a while longer. Let's see what awaits us in HIVE in the coming days.
I still see HIVE as a long-term investment. For this reason, I regularly power up the HIVE I receive from curation rewards to increase my Hive Power. As for HBD, I have kept the interest earned from my HBD savings account in my the saving account. As you know, the annual interest rate for HBD saving has been reduced to 10%. This was not exactly great news for those of us, like myself, who focus on accumulating HBD. Yet, it still sounds very reasonable to me for now to receive 10% annual interest payout for an instrument whose value is almost equal to 1 USD. That is my plan for now. Just as it requires effort to achieve something in life, it also requires effort to grow your account on HIVE. If it wasn't for the 
I have never drawn neither HIVE nor HBD from my wallet and used them for any other purpose. There might be people who need this income from HIVE. I am in favor of powering up HIVE rewards up to a specific goal for a stronger account and the community. I would say this goal should be at least 10000 HP, considering the current HIVE price. What is written in this post about HIVE and HBD is not a financial advice.
