Girls, I’m still in absolute shock! Let me tell you how my morning started!

So, I was sleeping so soundly, nose buried in the pillow, with the sun barely coming up outside. Then through my sleep, I hear the door softy squeak. Next thing I know, the mattress dips — someone’s sitting on the edge of the bed.
I open my eyes, squinting in the dim light, and there he is! Sitting there, leaning over me, holding his unzipped jacket super carefully against his chest. I look at him and honestly didn’t know what to think: he’s got this huge, slightly bewildered grin, and his hands are literally shaking as he tries to fold back the jacket. His eyes were just overflowing with excitement!
Then he whispers, his voice totally cracking with emotion:
"Look who came to see you…"
He puts his hands out — and right onto my blanket steps this tiny, completely weightless, fluffy little bundle! My heart literally stopped. It was HER — the exact British Chinchilla Point I’ve been obsessing over forever! 😻
Gosh, she’s so ridiculously cute: bright, glowing fur with this soft silvery tint, a tiny pink nose, and a fluffy tail that looks like a little paintbrush. But when she lifted her face… Girls, her eyes are huge, bottomless sapphire blue! I almost burst into tears right then and there.
He just sits there, looking at the two of us, and confesses:
"I was so nervous driving her over! I was terrified she’d meow in the hallway and wake you up early. I drove across the whole city for her!"
And right on queue, this little girl takes a few timid steps on her tiny plush paws, nudges her damp nose right into my palm, and starts purring with this high-pitched little baby motor!
I was sitting there completely unable to process that this was actually real life. I just threw my arms around him, hugging him and this little fluffy ball of joy all at once! Honestly, I’m just so blown away by how he knows how to make my absolute favorite dreams come true!
