I know man cheat, even if they love the partner they are with, even if the partner they are with has the most amazing body ever (hello Beyonce…), even if say partner is a sex goddess, they have infinite excuses for it and reasons on why we should pardon them too.
I have seen it happen too many times to my mom, to friends, to women I know and to women I don’t know (celebrities), it happens to all it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are, how rich you are, how smart you are, it happens.
This post is not about me wondering why men cheat, like I said they have many excuses for doing it from “is not their fault” and even blaming their partner to just admitting they are just garbage, this post is about RESPECT.
You’ll see I wonder why when men cheat, they don’t have the minimum of respect for their partner to do it in a discreet manner, like if you are going to cheat why on earth you do it in a way that you know your wife, girlfriend, woman you are with is going to find out? Or in some cases even worst other people?
Is not enough to cheat but you had to be so obvious about it and assume we are so stupid that we wouldn’t notice? I think that is an insult to our intelligence and makes us feel even worst about it.
Look at my case:
We are in the reception of my Doctor office waiting for my monthly check up of the pregnancy and to do a new ultrasound of our baby, we are sitting next to each other, and he is using his phone to do a payment to the doctor for the consult, I'm looking at his phone he knows it, and he receives whatsapp message, is from a female friend that has already cause some trouble in our relationship, what he choose to do when he sees that he got that message you ask? He decides that is ok to open it right next to me and replay to this woman, while sitting next to me, while we are waiting to see our baby, because he thought I wouldn’t notice or figure out it was her with whom he was texting.
Don’t I deserve enough respect to you know don’t answer her message while you are next to me? Couldn’t you just wait a little bit to a moment when I not exactly sitting next to you to replay to her?
That is right my main problem is not with the fact that he was texting with another woman, my main problem is that he thought I was so stupid I wouldn’t even notice what he was doing, that he didn’t show me enough respect to make her wait for a replay. Respect for a person that hasn’t done anything besides loving you; be there for you in the goods and bad times, support you in every single decision you have made, RESPECT is the minimum that I deserve and all I have ever asked for.
