Greetings to the entire Liketu community! Today I bring you a post a bit different from what I usually share, but the occasion calls for it and it was just perfect to upload here.
Taking advantage of some free time in the afternoon, I decided to do some ironing. Why not? What could possibly go wrong? I had my space ready, the fabric stretched out nicely on the table... and in a matter of seconds, guess who arrived: Perla Margarita. I got distracted for a couple of minutes and I already had the supermodel taking a nice, long nap. The result? An invaded table, full of cat hair, and zero clothes ironed.
She is such a shameless little rascal, but look at that innocent little face, my goodness 😼.
As you can see, my ironing mission was officially canceled by an official decree from Her Majesty, Perla. (And I felt bad moving her because she looked SOOO BEAUTIFUL... things only cat lovers understand).
So, I decided to do an impromptu photoshoot showing off all her fluffiness and gorgeousness. I don't know if it was the angle... today she looked fluffier than ever, making me want to shower her with kisses and cuddles, even though she doesn't like that as a good, grumpy, and standoffish calico.
She accepts it, she likes having her pictures taken, and she even poses (believe it or not), but on her own terms. She decides how many shots you can take before she gets annoyed and leaves. That's when she gave me her favorite pose: putting her paws over her face 🐾.
Just thinking about having to wash the fabric I had placed on the table, and with no running water (the joys of being Venezuelan), gave me too much laziness... I'll leave it for another afternoon, but this time I think I'll have to change spots so Doña Perla doesn't come and ruin my plans again.

Mi plan de hoy era planchar ropa... 👑🐾
¡Un saludo a toda la comunidad de Liketu! Hoy les traigo un post un poco diferente a lo que suelo compartir, pero es que la ocasión lo amerita y quedaba perfecto para subirlo aquí.
Aprovechando que tenía un tiempo libre en la tarde, me propuse ponerme a planchar ropa. ¿Por qué no? ¿Qué podría suceder? Tenía mi espacio listo, la tela bien estirada en la mesa… y en cuestión de segundos adivinen quién llegó: Perla Margarita. Me descuidé un par de minutos y ya tenía a la súper modelo echándose una buena siesta. ¿El resultado? Una mesa invadida, llena de pelos y cero ropa planchada.
Es una sinvergüenza, pero miren esa carita de inocencia, ño mío 😼.
Como podrán ver, mi misión planchadora quedó oficialmente cancelada por un decreto oficial de su majestad, Perla. (Y a mí me dio lástima quitarla de allí porque se veía TAAAN BELLA… cosas que solo los amantes de los gatos entendemos).
Entonces, decidí hacerle una sesión de fotos improvisada mostrando toda su peludez y hermosura. No sé si era el ángulo… hoy se veía más esponjosa que nunca, provocaba caerle a besos y amapuches, aunque a ella no le gusta como buena calicó antipática y arisca.
Ella acepta, le gusta que le tomen fotos y también posa (aunque usted no lo crea), pero respetando sus tiempos. Ella decide cuántas capturas le puedes hacer porque luego se fastidia y se va. Ahí me hizo su pose favorita: la de ponerse las patas en la cara 🐾.
Pensar en lavar la tela que había puesto en la mesa y sin agua (cosas de venezolanos) me dio mucha pereza… lo dejaré para otra tarde, pero esta vez creo que tendré que cambiar de sitio para que no llegue Doña Perla a frustrar mis planes.
