This weekend my friends and I celebrated our friend's birthday by camping in the forest.
Most of us preferred to go to the place by bicycles, while another part of us arrived by car carrying the camping equipment.
The place where we celebrated was in Strandzha mountain, at the foot of Bakarlaka peak.
There is a small chapel and an ayazmo, next to which a shelter and a hearth have been built.
The chapel is dedicated to the Holy Mother of God, and since only a few days ago this church holiday had passed, it was obvious that the local people visited the temple.
There were tables set with tablecloths and still fresh flowers.
There is a perfect meadow for tents and that's where we pitched ours.
Of course, while it was still daylight, we pitched our tents in suitable places.
Some of our friends slept on hammocks. I especially liked this hammock with a canvas stretched over it.
Those who sleep on hammocks always put on inflatable mats to protect themselves from air currents at night.
The place is very wild, there are tall trees, lots of vegetation, flowers and herbs, jackals howl in the night.
For the first time I saw this beautiful pink flower.
There is an abundance of horsetail in this place.
At the celebration, delicious food was prepared over a fire. One of my favorite grilled foods is zucchini.
At the celebration in the evening there was a lot of music and a cheerful mood. It was very nice to celebrate in nature.
