다가오는 6/19일 멕시코를 상대로 과다할라스타디움에서 조별리그 2차전이 열린다.
멕시코와는 역대 전적에서 4승3무8패를 기록 중이다.
이번에는 승자승원칙이 적용된다.
2026 FIFA 월드컵에서 언급되는 '승자승 원칙(Head-to-Head)'은 조별 리그에서 두 팀 이상이 승점(순위 결정의 최우선 기준)이 같을 때, 해당 팀들 간의 직접적인 맞대결 결과를 우선적으로 반영하여 순위를 결정하는 방식이다.
