Minho has loved computers since elementary school. In the third grade, his school had a class website contest. To make a website, you had to program. From then on, he enjoyed programming and learned how to make programs.
After school in high school, his friends would go out to the schoolyard to play soccer. But Minho preferred computers to sports. He sat at an integrated table next to the playground, coding programs on his laptop.
His homeroom teacher spots him working intently on his laptop.
“Minho, what are you doing on your laptop?”
“Yes, sir, I'm developing a program.”
“What kind of program are you working on?”
“I'm working on a city bus guide app. It's a real-time bus schedule and routes in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do. I'm working on the app because I want to be able to check when the bus is coming.”
“That's a great idea and necessary.”
The teacher seemed pleased with Minho's effort. He pulls out drink and sets it on the table.
“Here, Minho, drink this and work on it. I expect good results.”
From then on, Minho put in the time and worked hard until he was finally able to develop his app.
Minho's app became the number one free application as soon as it was registered. It was so popular that it was downloaded by 400,000 users.
