kommienezuspadt@kommienezuspadt and I were finally reunited after four long days. I’ve missed him a great deal and I feel like all is right in the world when I’ve got him around. While he was away in New York, I’ve been multitasking and keeping my hands busy with several crafts-my thoughts wondering off every now and then. You wouldn’t believe my excitement when I first laid eyes on him. I hopped out of the car right away to give him a hug. I’m almost positive that these feelings went unnoticed since I’m apparently the “stoic” type.

The family and I drove into town to meet him at Harvest, which is a seasonal grill and wine bar. bonni@bonni has been hyping this place up since we landed so we knew that we’d eventually end up here. The food served here is sustainable, health-conscious and locally sourced.

We arrived to the restaurant and I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I was told that the spinach and feta pierogis were to die for and they were right! These pierogis were topped with toasted almonds, micro spring onions, larger chunks of feta and served with a chive pesto/lemon yogurt on the side. The flat bread was also quite good.

I got myself mahi mahi fish tacos with a beautiful harvest salad on the side. There was a lot happening on the plate but it was still very pleasing to the eye.

We ended our culinary journey with tiny bite sized desserts. With the selections ranging from caramel espresso to key lime. Mine was a little too rich in flavor for my taste but still a delightful treat.

The night ended quickly and once we were settled back at the house, kommienezuspadt@kommienezuspadt and I finally finished the last episode from Game of Thrones. Luckily, we were able to dodge the spoilers.

Thanks for reading!🦊
