Last week I posted a post with a photo of Caslte Vorden for the #monomad challenge. Tonight I went back together with my youngest son to take some more picture. Because it was already very dark and I didn't had set my camera on the right settings not all pictures are sharp, but that doesn't matter for the view ;).. Enjoy.
A tree root with in which you can see the years of time.. Awesome nature isn't it.
While we got out of the car this was the first view....Great isn't it.
The castle (it is rebuild during the years) is stil private property. They do open up for visitors from time to time, and next to the castle there is a little thea house.
The wooden bridge is great to see, but looking closer does show some maintenance has to be done.
From the side it looks great too, there was a light on so I guess the owners were home :) Wouldn't it be awesome to live in such a old castle.
From the castle you can see the centre of Vorden.
The bridge from a other view
Looking trough the trees... Gives a great atmosphere don't you think..
Look these wooden beams, they need to be looked after I think...
Today it's private, behind the private sign you can read "open" :)
To get to the castle you had to cross a other bridge. As you can see it's quiet dry in the Netherlands. Farmes are complaining due to the warm temperature that is alread for months without enough rain.
This sight can easyly been from a fairytale :)
I hope you enjoyed these pictures, I enjoyed walking around with my son a lot. We had a great time.
Have a great evening,
Peter
