My Wednesday walk today is along the Devil’s Path Ecotrail.
With my friends and I had planned to hike the so-called "Big Loop," but upon arrival, we discovered that this wouldn't be possible. A recent incident involving the water had destroyed many of the wooden bridges and platforms. Consequently, we could only hike the direct section—which, while much shorter, was incredibly picturesque.
We drove to the metal stairs located towards the village of Yagodina and started our hike from there.
It was stunningly beautiful, and we stopped frequently, left speechless by the scenery.
We crossed over small bridges.
For me, this was the most beautiful spot—a unique, hidden waterfall with a view that took my breath away.
There were gazebos and benches along the way, and this particular bench was especially inviting for a short rest and a chance to take in the view.
We emerged from the trail at its other end, near the village of Borino.
This is definitely one of the places I want to visit again. I’ll just be keeping an eye out for when the entire trail is restored.
