I exist, I believe I exist, unless this is all a dream within someone else's dream, be that as it may, existence is what I find most impressive of all.
We take for granted that we exist, but we don't know anything else. We laugh, we cry, we lie, we love, we hate and we don't even know what we are, we enjoy or suffer with what we are without being able to define it, that is impressive.
To live on a planet that revolves around the sun and at the same time revolves on itself so that we can all know the darkness and the light, that is impressive.
To know that millions of species live in the sea, that it is so deep that some believe that many secrets are kept in it, that on its shores the water comes and goes in the form of waves, sometimes so huge that they can cause a tidal wave or a tsunami, that is impressive.
To know that from a seed a plant is born to give life to new seeds, to know that before we are born we are just a tiny piece of two cells. The different species of flora and fauna, their shapes, colors and characteristics, the different human races, different skin colors, facial features. All this is impressive.
Being alive is impressive, sometimes my mind gets quite tangled wondering what all this is and why all this, I would like to just enjoy it and be grateful for it but I don't always manage it.
Although sometimes I do set out just to enjoy things and suddenly I hear an excellent piece of music, like a fusion of violins and piano and I am impressed how some people can have so much sensitivity and creativity to achieve such beautiful creations. Spectacular lyrics and melodies like Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven", it is impressive that someone can create something like this or write books with great stories or teachings, or paint pictures that seem to hypnotize many.
But... speaking of human creations, there is nothing that impresses me more than the Pyramids of Egypt, 140 meters up, the highest, in an imposing construction with a very suggestive shape. It is so difficult to believe that they were created by the hand of man that some believe that they were created by an extraterrestrial intelligence, I do not rule it out, it seems to me that it is something possible. It is said that they were created more than four thousand five hundred years ago, it is difficult to imagine that, with the non-existent technology for those times, they were built only by men, however, there are some theories that try to explain such a fact.
I really think that few things impress me, I remember that as a child my mother would ask me what I thought of such and such a thing and my answer was always "normal" and also, as a teenager, a good friend confessed to me that he was homosexual and although I did not imagine that, I took it as if I did not care and he claimed my indifference, then he calmed down when he noticed that I had understood and that for me everything remained the same.
It is not that everything seems normal to me, I like the kindness, the respect, the attentions, I find that gratifying.

Nothing more impressive than our existence, it still impresses me to be here, sometimes my mind gets quite entangled wondering what is all this and why all this, I would like to just enjoy it and be grateful for it but I don't always succeed.
