We are we are disciples. And I remember God told that my sister years ago when we were starting to publicly share our stories of walking with God. She said, Lord, what do we say we are? And he said, disciple, that's what you say.
You are what we do. And all of us were walking. The disciples walked with Jesus and simply told their story of what that was like.
And so anyway, Janice and I like to be real on our shows. And we know we don't know everything. So anyway, I think I hope that that gives confidence to somebody listening who might feel that they don't know enough and that God can't help them because they're not smart enough or don't know the Bible.
He wants to use all of us. And actually, sometimes that's the best place to be is not knowing because then you're not tainted by knowledge. And God, you can have that child like faith to really believe.
So, you know, that's actually a positive thing in many ways is not knowing so much. So anyway, that's just a sidebar. So Paul says that we should we all would desire the gift of prophecy.
And I believe he says that out of all the gifts, you know, that's what he said. You should ask for help. And I believe he says that because that really is what Janice said is hearing the voice of God.
Prophecy is hearing what God is saying when I just boil it down in simplest terms. It's hearing his voice. Now, as I mentioned, also, there are differences in the gifting that God, it's whatever he's going to give to each of us.
You know, he gives us a measure of faith each differently according to our purpose. And he gives the gifts differently according to our purpose. And just because we get one gift in one season, it doesn't mean that the only gift you have to have in one season, he might give one and then another.
