How many days, weeks and months have passed
Since the last time I held on my paper and pen
The pleasurable pastime that kept me buried
I can't even remember the last time was I just abruptly stopped my art.
Now I shall narrate the notion that cause it
and chronicle what I have experienced
An ordeal again caused by love
A love that can torment you in ways you can't imagine.
When things got hazy between us
My demolished soul to write retired
As if the art itself vanished
My soul forgot how to write.
My inspiration has left me
I don't know how to get back on my feet
My heart shut itself from the world
And everything around me got perplex.
But one day, as I woke up
I thought that I shouldn't be distressed
I shouldn't make her my world
I need to go back to my old true self.
Today is the day I shall redeem myself
back to the talent that was bestowed upon me
This may not be perfect
But they are things that I am confident in.
I shall not not allow another to lay me waste
I shall not allow world to pull me in its flow
I shall let the people know that this talent bestowed
Is not for my love, but It is for the people who believe in my talent endlessly.
