What a beautiful country
A breathtaking town
Do the citizens around here see this treasure?
Everyone seems to yearn for riches
While constantly asking for justice.
We have a leading governor
That leads us Filipinos
Is their strength enough
If their opponent keeps on escaping the truth?
They are big and number and they all join together to solve problems
That is why they climb the rankings
But does the country rise up as they rise in position?
If they are continuously arguing among themselves?.
We are here and the others are there
Until when must we bow our heads
You are the rising the star, you bear the light
But we still continue to fall into darkness.
Money is important in life
But it's not a reason for you to remain alive
We are asking, they are pleading
But where are you? Where are you to help?.
There are so many of you sitting in a position
How come there many of us still struggling to stand?
Waiting for your helpful hands
So that we don't completely fall into oblivion.
We all look up to you during campaigns
Often driven by your beautiful words
Driving us to continuously hope
And continuously suffer.
