The Backward Path--

In this land of vibrant hues, we walk the backward way, Moral words are empty talk, with nothing left to say.The cunning, greedy, powerful now hear their praises ring, While honest souls are terrified, and wisdom means nothing.

The lawless rule with arrogance, their wicked deeds run high, Humility is seen as weakness under this bleak sky.Deceit and sheer hypocrisy have wrapped the nation whole, Some are lost in luxury, while suffering takes the toll.

Adulterated food and speech, in this fake saintly land, The corrupt don the donor’s garb with a deceptive hand. With boundless wealth from crooked paths, they gather fame and pride, While those who walk the righteous way must in misfortune hide.

The hypocrites and fools boast loud, shaking the social sphere, While gentle, cultured, noble souls weep silently in fear.In colorful robes of opportunism, they thrive and shine so bright, In this era of the backward path, the righteous lose the fight.
