A politician was making his candidacy speech

Politician:

(shouting in unity) LONG LIVE THE FUCKING CAPTAIN!

Election; Greet or Cheat?

Woot! Woot! The elections have ended
The world is now back to normal
The day and night house to house campaigns are over
Flyers and solicitations, and also liquor!

No more tarpaulins, T-shirts and paper fans
Beaming candidates who greet everyone
No more art as everyone is back to slacking
no more people requesting for the freebies.

The roosters are still sleeping, eyes closed in harmony
Then suddenly comes in your thundering sound!
Even in slumber, their sound is awful
Volume maxed, tunes messed up.

Historically speaking, during Spanish times
Did you know that elections started then?
We have Emilio and Andres and Magdalo
Vote buying and cheating also existed back then!

Even in the Bible, The New Testament
Christ and Barabas had an election
Who shall be condemned? Who shall be whipped?
"Crucify Christ" is the last judgment.

So now that everything is over,
Some celebrated and a few were beaten
Stories, comments, and opinions.
Some made a solo trip - while others shared!

Are we Filipinos always going to be stuck?
When someone wins - cheating is involved
Maybe it's true, Maybe it's not
It's better to ask our neighbor's opinion.

Let's not be angry
Let's not be sour.
victory is not always on our side;
avoid thinking whether the opposition
fought truthful or not
For even Judas, a dedicated a\postle
Betrayed Lord Jesus Christ!

That is why my fellow, the only solution we have;
Always hold on to your faith in God;
God who loves us so, ready to help round the clock
even if it's not election days.

A simple reminder to the winners
Do your best in the appointed position;
If you fail or become dull at your work,

I, VEEJAY, will be your enemy!
