Prelude
Hi all, hope all is well for you and it is time for another Battle Mage Secrets. Last week, the ruleset that we discussed on the ruleset that brings us back to playing raw stats. This week the ruleset that we will be discussing will be surrounding resurrection.

Born Again
Description:
All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once.
What thrives with this ruleset?
Tampering with death typically associates with abilities that triggers on onset of death. These include abilities such as Martyr, Scavenge, Redemption and Blood Lust. Knowing how to make use of these abilities will most certainly gain you the needed advantage to secure victories.
Martyr is one of my favourites where the death of cards with this abilities create monsters out of their neighbours. Able to cheat death twice certainly allows bigger stat boost.
Scavenge is something that "eats" the fallen, so the additional deaths gives additional boost to the health of cards have Scavenge. When being left alone, these cards can possibly overturn your match.
Redemption, another crazy detonation mechanism that works really well in such matches because having a double chance of dying, it gives a double detonation to the whole opponent's lineup.
Lastly will Blood Lust. This is the number one capitalizer of this ruleset. And this will be showcased in the battle.
Stats wise, nothing special to call out, the more the merrier.
With these in mind, let's start to talk about the battle proper.

Prediction before pressing rumble
Opponent also planted Venari Marksrat to try to get more out of the ruleset. So let's see Martyr gets more or Blood Lust.
Battle Synopsis
Round 1, Fungus Fiend took 2 blows and was knocked out. Revealer was smashed but revived.
Round 2, Katrelba smashed home and took out Revealer with Ravenhood now looking exposed.
Round 3, A more exciting round. Ravenhood fell with Thane Newsong and Wily Coyotian falling once each.
Round 4, Wily Coyotian fell, alongside Venari Spellsmith making Katrelba a 6 attack monster. Thane Newsong also fell on my side.
Round 5, Katrelba leads the way and smash home Life Sapper and subsequently Marksrat was taken by Uraeus and Queen Mycelia. Victory secured with a super scary Katrelba at 8 attack.
Post Battle Summary
A super exciting match where a growing Katrelba bulldoze through opponent backline and secured the victory without even allowing Marksrat to trigger Martyr.
Did my strategy work? Yes it did. Sufficient padding placing front and back was all that enough for Katrelba to make rampage and grow into a crazy attacker. Queen Mycelia also was instrumental in the additional armour protection alongside Thane Newsong that boosted the engine of Katrelba and Uraeus to make them hit real hard. A real showcase of Blood Lust at its very best.
What's the Battle Mage Secret?
For my sharing today, the Battle Mage Secret that I would like to share that Gladius is one card that when allowed room to grow because of additional opportunities to kill off cards will become too big a monster to handle.
A second thing that is important was that I had the double attack. A double attack on Katrelba allows it to grow fast, the first can either totally chew off an opponent or wreck their armour, the 2nd typically takes out the card and allow Katrelba to grow. So in a same way, if you have cards with Double Strike or Double attack with Blood Lust, it adds on to the speed of growth and opponent will not be able to handle your growth while you chew on their lineup.
