It's called Karma, where we inadvertently seek out lovers to help us to resolve issues from our past.

The good news is, once resolved, once the lessons are learned, we will no longer attract the same unbalanced types of people into our lives over and over like a broken record.

You might smash your fingers with a hammer, but once you learn to bring the hammer 2 inches over to the side, you'll no longer smash your fingers.

Once you learn the relationship lessons that you need to learn, no more "Relationship Karma".

Most people are "asleep"; they walk around in a trance all day with little self-awareness.

Now, let's say that a girl named "Mary" had an abusive, alcoholic father.

One could say that she "chose" that particular father because her soul wanted to learn all of the lessons involved in being the daughter of an abusive drunk. She wanted to experience it firsthand. (An interesting frame, if you think about it.)

And let's say that Mary made the common mistake of blaming herself for her abusive father's behavior. You know, maybe she tells herself that she's a bad person and deserves it or something like that.

Well, the "Law of Karma" states that until she learns the lesson, "It's not about me" she will end up attracting men into her life that abuse her in similar ways that her father abused her.

She will keep on attracting abusive men until she finally learns to stop blaming herself, to stop OWNING the problems of others.

The Universe will always supply you with an abundance of whatever it is that you need to learn. When a person has an imbalance such as low self-esteem, the Universe will always treat that person over and over with all kinds of interesting experiences until that person wakes up and returns to balance. There are "Natural laws" and when we violate them, bad things happen.

But now let's say that Mary started reading books by guys like Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra when she was fifteen. And let's say that she really "got it". She meditated. She learned to go within. She opened her Heart. She embraced herself fully and completely. She understood Ego dynamics and learned to step outside of the "matrix" and see her father for what he truly is - an insecure drunk who simply doesn't know any better.

And the more she learned to understand herself and her father's behavior, the more COMPASSION she developed for him, and ultimately for herself.

Fast foward a few years...

She is now an educated, self-aware woman with high self-esteem.
VERY high self-esteem.

What kind of man is she going to attract NOW?

It certainly won't be another abusive alcoholic. She knows better than that now. She has risen about that Karmic set of lessons.

She is going to attract lovers that are more or less in the same "vibrational frequency" she is in. Since she is more self-aware and therefore has more love in her heart than most people, she is now going to attract a "higher vibing" mate.

And they will still learn lessons together. There will still be challenges. But they will be higher quality challenges.

Once a person overcomes their own Ego and learns to live from the Heart, everything SNOWBALLS from there.

It's tough right now, because so many of you KNOW BETTER. You look around at people and their relationships, and you KNOW BETTER.

Thanks for reading.
