Greetings!

Kola, the handsome boy, was the choice of every lady in our class back in our days in secondary school. Whenever Kola showed up from afar, everyone would gist and discuss him and his handsomeness, most especially the ladies who were always wishing themselves to have someone like Kola as their boyfriend, as we used to call a male partner in those days.

One day, a lady whose name was Fisayo came to me asking if she could walk up to Kola and woo him by herself as she was afraid of other ladies getting Kola to themselves. She said,

“Sam, please I need your advice, please advise me, if I should go to Kola and woo him by myself.”

When I heard this, I told her not to go that route just because she wanted Kola at all costs. I told her,

“Fisayo, never try to approach Kola for any form of relationship as this would cost you your dignity as a woman.”

When she heard me saying this, she burst into laughter and said,

“Sam, this what you are saying is not special again, women are now approaching men for relationships and I believe my own case will not be the first nor will it be the last.” she continued, “who dignity even help.”

When I heard this from a lady I respected so much and was even thinking of approaching to start a relationship with, I was shocked and surprised as I wouldn't have expected such a statement of belief from her.

So, after our discussion, Fisayo left and went her way, so do I, although, it was so painful for me as I was already crushing on her before she came to tell me about her love for Kola, maybe that was part of the reason I was trying to persuade her not to approach the guy, Kola.

All that happened was so strange to me to the extent that I was feeling so sorry for Fisayo and the reason being that Kola has always been a cheat to every lady that has dated or being in a relationship with him. The funny thing is that, all these ladies that are dying to be in a relationship with this guy, Kola, knew him very well and to me, I wonder how they would be dying for a cheater instead of someone who truly loved them.

When I told Femi about what was going on in the school, he told me and said,

“That's ladies for you.”

He continued by saying that,
“You see, ladies are only moved by what they see, since they have seen how handsome and wealthy Kola is, they will always go after him and there's no way they will not be dying for him, even if he's treating them badly.”

What Femi just told me about made me believe that ladies are moved by what they see and ever since then, I have always looked and dealt with them like that and I have never been disappointed by their deeds when they behave in their ways.

So, after a while and before we passed out of the school, I began to see both Kola and Fisayo together, but one thing I didn't ask her was if they are now in a relationship as she had always wished, but even without asking her or without her telling me, it is visible to the blind that they are already in a relationship.

I was so surprised how the relationship came into being, but one thing that I know was that, it's Fisayo that would have forced herself on Kola and to my best of knowledge, such kind of love is always one-sided in most cases.

However, after like six month of relationship, I noticed that things were not as rosy and beautiful as they were in the beginning of their relationship, but one thing was that, Fisayo couldn't speak out as she was not ready to be put to shame by those she had contested with before she got Kola to herself.

Just for this reason, she approached me again and narrated the displeasure she encountered during her little stint with Kola in her relationship with him. She said,

“Sam, it would have been good for me if I had not resisted your advice and have a relationship with Kola, Kola is no other than a cheater and I regretted my decision, but the only thing is that I don't want to quit the relationship as those my enemies will be mocking me.”

When I heard this, I burst into laughter and when she saw me laughing, she asked saying,

“Sam, why are you laughing?” And I answered her saying, “Fisayo, I'm laughing just because you have not learnt your lesson, you better don't mind what people would say, I will advise you to quit this toxic relationship of yours and run for your dear life.”

After I had said this, she said she would get back to me and she left. It's in the night that she called me that she has quit the relationship and that she's now happy as she's free at last. She told me that she's been in the bondage of this guy just because she forced herself on her, but now that she's left the relationship, she's feeling liberated.

When I heard this, I was happy for her, but the question now is, “Should I approach her?”
