Gatos que han compartido conmigo a lo largo de mi vida | Cats that have shared with me through my life [ESP/ENG]

Buenas noches, amigos de Hive, hoy quise escribir sobre algunos de los gatos que me han acompañado a lo largo de mi vida, es decir, gatos que he tenido de mascotas o que he dado en adopción. Todos los gatos que han estado conmigo hasta ahora han sido rescatados de la calle, actualmente solo tres gatas continúan viviendo conmigo y mi familia, un grupo ha sido dado en adopción y otros lamentablemente han fallecido.

He perdido la cuenta de la cantidad de gatos que han pasado por mi hogar, yo diría que son más de veinte. Convivir con tantos felinos ha sido una experiencia encantadora, todos han tenido diferentes personalidades y me han enseñado muchas cosas, así como también han protegido a mi familia y a mí.

Hoy solo hablaré de nueve de ellos, ya después haré otro post hablando de los demás, que si los pongo a todos aquí termino de escribir el día de mañana (🤭).

Good evening, friends of Hive, today I wanted to write about some of the cats that have accompanied me throughout my life, that is, cats that I have had as pets or that I have given up for adoption. All the cats that have been with me so far have been rescued from the street, currently only three cats continue to live with me and my family, a group has been given up for adoption and others have unfortunately passed away.

I have lost count of the number of cats that have passed through my home, I would say there are more than twenty. Living with so many felines has been a lovely experience, they have all had different personalities and have taught me many things, as well as protected my family and me.

Today I will only talk about nine of them, later I will make another post talking about the others, if I put them all here I will finish writing tomorrow (🤭).

Mau es la gata con la que más tiempo he tenido, tiene ya 11 años conmigo si mal no recuerdo. De ella ya he hablado aquí en Hive, es mi bebe consentido, desde que mi hermana la rescato de la calle y la trajo, yo me quise quedar con ella y aquí está aún, siempre a mi lado. Su personalidad es una mezcla entre cariñosa y odiosa, ella normalmente siempre está pegada a mí, duerme conmigo, pero si no le presto atención se molesta, a veces hasta me da un leve mordisco (🤭).

Las cosas que más le gusta hacer es comer y dormir, le encanta demasiado comer, por eso aquí en la casa le decimos con cariño "la gordita", de todos los gatos que he tenido creo que ella es la que siempre ha demostrado extrema pasión por la comida jajaja.

Mau is the cat I have been with the longest, she has been with me for 11 years if I remember correctly. I have already talked about her here in Hive, she is my spoiled baby, since my sister rescued her from the street and brought her, I wanted to keep her and here she is still, always by my side. Her personality is a mix between affectionate and hateful, she is usually always glued to me, she sleeps with me, but if I don't pay attention to her she gets upset, sometimes she even gives me a slight bite (🤭).

The things she likes to do the most is eat and sleep, she loves to eat too much, that's why here at home we call her with affection "la gordita", of all the cats I've had I think she is the one who has always shown extreme passion for food hahaha.

La pequeña Gizmi es la segunda gata que más tiempo lleva conmigo y mi familia, ya nueve años, mi papá la rescato de la calle. Ella es muy cariñosa y protectora, normalmente siempre está con mi mamá, es como su sombra. Le pusimos la pequeña Gizmi porque no creció mucho.

Personalmente, yo a ella le tengo mucho cariño por lo protectora que es, cuando en la casa nos enfermamos ella siempre se pone a nuestro lado, especialmente siempre cuida a mi mamá, sin duda alguna Gizmi es una gata muy linda.

Little gizmi is the second cat that has been with me and my family the longest, already nine years, my dad rescued her from the street. She is very affectionate and protective, normally she is always with my mom, she is like her shadow. We named her little gizmi because she didn't grow much.

Personally I am very fond of her because of how protective she is, when we get sick in the house she always comes to our side, especially she always takes care of my mom, without any doubt gizmi is a very cute cat.

Tasmanin apareció un día en el jardín de la casa de mis abuelos, era pequeña y casi la agarra Jack, el perro de mi abuelo. Yo la cargue y se la di a mi papá, no teníamos planeado quedárnosla, pero al final si se quedó con nosotros.

Ella aún sigue con nosotros, tiene una personalidad particular, de todos los gatos ella ha sido la única agresiva que hemos tenido, pero es agresiva con otros gatos, no con los humanos, con los humanos es muy cariñosa, creo que ella quiere ser la única gata en el mundo (😂). Le pusimos de nombre Tasmanin por el demonio de Tasmania, por su personalidad.

Tasmanin appeared one day in the garden of my grandparents' house, she was small and was almost caught by Jack, my grandfather's dog. I carried her and gave her to my dad, we didn't plan to keep her, but in the end she stayed with us.

She is still with us, she has a particular personality, of all the cats, she has been the only aggressive one we have had, but she is aggressive with other cats, not with humans, with humans she is very affectionate, I think she wants to be the only cat in the world (😂). We named her Tasmanin after the Tasmanian devil, because of her personality.

Monita es la hija de una gata que vivió con nosotros por un tiempo a la cual dimos en adopción, Monita fue adoptada también. Ella siempre fue una gata apartada, nunca fue muy cariñosa con nosotros, era muy tranquila, siempre en lo suyo, eso si, siempre aparecía a tiempo para comer jajaja.

Monita is the daughter of a cat that lived with us for a while and we gave her up for adoption, Monita was adopted too. She was always an isolated cat, she was never very affectionate with us, she was very quiet, always on her own, but she always showed up on time to eat hahaha.

Wakanda es una de las hijas de la pequeña Gizmi. Los hijos de Gizmi los dimos en adopción en su mayoría, pero decidimos quedarnos con Wakanda porque tenía una personalidad particular. Los gatos blancos de por sí son muy delicados, ella tenía la rareza de ser una gata que tenía conductas un poco sucias, algo muy raro en los gatos, creo que tenía algún tipo de condición.

A pesar de lo mencionado arriba, nadie le puede quitar a Wakanda que era muy cariñosa y dulce, nos quería mucho a todos. Lamentablemente, Wakanda falleció, si mal no recuerdo hace dos años, pero sigue siendo recordada con mucho cariño.

Wakanda is one of the daughters of little Gizmi. Most of Gizmi's children were put up for adoption but we decided to keep Wakanda because she had a particular personality. White cats by themselves are very delicate, she had the oddity of being a cat that had a little dirty behavior, something very rare in cats, I think she had some kind of condition.

Despite the above, no one can take away from Wakanda that she was very affectionate and sweet, she loved us all very much. Sadly Wakanda passed away, if I remember correctly two years ago, but she is still remembered very fondly.

Buñuelo fue uno de los pocos gatos macho que tuvimos, mi papá lo rescato de la calle junto con otros dos gatitos, pensamos que iba a morir porque estaba muy pequeño, tenía un ojito enfermo y la colita cortada, pero no fue así, sobrevivió y se convirtió en un gato super mimado y dulce, por eso se llama Buñuelo.

Compartimos momentos muy lindos con Buñuelo, lo dimos en adopción y actualmente vive una buena vida en un vecindario donde lo quieren mucho, le dan mucha comida y está en compañía de Popa, otra de nuestros gatos que dimos en adopción (la mamá de Monita).

Buñuelo was one of the few male cats we had, my dad rescued him from the street along with two other kittens, we thought he was going to die because he was very small, he had a sick eye and his tail was cut, but it was not like that, he survived and became a super spoiled and sweet cat, that's why he is called Buñuelo.

We shared very nice moments with Buñuelo, we gave him up for adoption and he is currently living a good life in a neighborhood where he is very well loved, he gets lots of food and is in the company of Popa, another of our cats that we gave up for adoption (Monita's mom).

Pru es una de los gatitos que rescatamos junto con Buñuelo, asumimos que es su hermana. Pru es una de las gatas más cariñosas que he conocido, es super suavecita y linda, la llamamos Pru porque ronroneaba siempre. Era muy lindo dormir con ella.

Actualmente, Pru ya no vive con nosotros, fue adoptada por un veterinario. Me alegra mucho que Pru haya sido adoptada por alguien super calificado, ya que es una gatita que se merece mucho amor.

Pru is one of the kittens we rescued along with Buñuelo, we assume she is his sister. Pru is one of the most loving cats I have ever met, she is super soft and cute, we called her Pru because she was always purring. It was very nice to sleep with her.

Currently Pru no longer lives with us, she was adopted by a veterinarian. I am very happy that Pru was adopted by someone super qualified, she is a kitty that deserves a lot of love.

Guari fue la única sobreviviente de una camada de 5 gatitos que aparecieron en el jardín de la casa de mis abuelos (no sé si los dejaron ahí apropósito). Lamentablemente, todos los demás fallecieron, creemos que todos nacieron con problemas, fueron muriendo de uno en uno, afortunadamente Guari logro sobrevivir.

Guari vivió con nosotros por el periodo de un año, convivir con ella fue muy lindo, pues era una gata muy cariñosa. La dimos en adopción a un chico que la vio y se enamoró de ella a primera vista. Actualmente, vive felizmente en un campo.

Guari was the only survivor of a litter of 5 kittens that appeared in the garden of my grandparents' house (I don't know if they were left there on purpose). Unfortunately all the others died, we think they were all born with problems, they died one by one, fortunately Guari managed to survive.

Guari lived with us for a year, living with her was very nice because she was a very affectionate cat. We gave her up for adoption to a boy who saw her and fell in love with her at first sight. At the moment she lives happily in a field.

Amarillito fue uno de los hermanos de Guari que lamentablemente no sobrevivió, de todos sus hermanos él era el único color amarillo, todos los demás eran grises. A pesar de que no vivió mucho, fue un gatito cariñoso, estuve con hasta el final, estoy segura de que si hubiera logrado vivir, el día de hoy sería una gran compañía para alguien.

Amarillito was one of Guari's brothers who unfortunately did not survive, of all his brothers he was the only yellow color, all the others were gray. Although he didn't live long, he was a loving kitten, I was with him until the end, I am sure that if he had lived, he would be a great companion for someone today.
