"Only women, children and dogs are loved unconditionally. A man is only loved under the condition that he provides something." - Chris Rock
A woman is like a line of chinese calligraphy. Beautiful and suggestive, but finally inscrutable. Inside her brain, emotions go into conflict all the time. She may want to preserve her independence, but still want a man who takes control of her reality. She may want to receive attention, and at the same time be considered not needy for it. It's not rare at all to see couples, even married ones, in which there's a subtle dynamic of subjugation of man to woman. Now I must say that's not a healthy relationship. Now before my ladyfriends feminists jump up to the comment section, this doesn't mean I believe in subjugation of woman to man. I just accept the natural roles of men and women, from a scientifical and anthropological basis. Reversing these roles always turns to be a disaster, and that's a fact. It's the same old story over and over: untamable man meets woman, they get together, build a relationship, woman tries to tame man, succeds, man gives more attention to woman, woman losses interest, they break up.
Why? Because predictability turns off her attraction switches. Knowing you're there, certain as day, and you're not gonna go anywhere, shreds her interest in you. Even if she loves you already, her nature is stronger.
It's been scientifically proven that effort is an essential part in the production of serotonin. In other words, we don't value effortless gains. So you should never stop being a challenge to her.
You should always maintain a position in the relationship, that's directly over hers. There's no such thing as "equal partners". When you're not in control, she's in control, you just don't notice it. This is your masculine nature. Embrace it.
The truth is this is a common thing. She needs some uncertainty in her life in order to remain interested, stimulated. The minute she takes you for granted, it's over. And it all starts the moment you show the slightest smidge of weakness. After finding that lever, she will pull it, and pull it, until she breaks it. So be a gentleman, be the Prince Charming she always dreamed about, but don't let her change who you are.
The only time you should ever kneel before a woman, is when you put a ring on her hand.
