Daft Punk gilt nicht bei jedem als Techno, ist so ne Mischung Dance, House, EDM aber auch Techno - der französische Einfluss ist spürbar, und zwar positiv, ist was anderes. Mit dem Lied bin ich auch aufgewachsen und es gehörte zu den Liedern, die ich am meisten gespielt habe.
I love these guys - played them so often in my DJ life, the sound was different and new - who would have expected to get that from La France, historic and epic. Also their live performances / appearance was special. They re-created Dance House and opened doors for many folks that hated Techno for example, what I hope Splinterlands might do soon - new, special, different appearace versus the rest of "blockchain games" - with awesome game play just saying 
These sounds are epic, performance special even I am more in favour of more upbeat bassline electronic sounds but they did something new. I think you really need to listen to the songs till the end to get the tension, the way they raise sound carpets - AWWW.
Daft Punk opened the door to other project such as Stardust - pretty French as well, right? Or are these guys related to original Daft Punk? Who knows?
