Splinterlands: Another Friendly Battle Against Bhattg After a Long Time! 🔥
Hello fellow Splinterlands warriors! It's @zoe01 here again with another little update from my Splinterlands journey. Today I am going to share another friendly battle against
@bhattg after quite a long time. And surprisingly I managed to defeat him again hehe.
If you have read my older Splinterlands blog then you might remember that I had won a friendly challenge against him before. Well this time we got another chance to battle together and I was excited to see how things would go. Well, to be honest we were just playing for fun so don't take it seriously 🤣
Bhattg is a much more experienced player than me and if I can win against him then you know how lol. So even though I had won against him before I wasn't really expecting to win again, the one I'm sharing today is our last match, we have played plenty of matches but I thought only this one was worth sharing.
Battle Rules & Match Setup
Before entering the arena here was what our friendly battle looked like:
Opponent: Bhattg
Match Type: Friendly Challenge
Mana Cap: 85 Mana
Elements: All available except fire
Ruleset: Standard (No special modifiers)
Rounds: 5
Rating: 0
This time there were no special rulesets and we had 85 Mana available. Unlike our previous battle where we had Born Again and Eggceleration this one was just a normal battle.
I was happy to see such a huge Mana cap because I could choose some powerful monsters together without worrying too much about their costs.
Since there were no special modifiers I knew that choosing the right monsters would be important. Specially because I was facing bhattg hehe.
My Lineup & Battle Strategy
For my team I decided to use Elowen Sylphie as my summoner and focus on survivability while having different types of attacks.
My Team
Summoner: Elowen Sylphie
Position 1: Ulundin Overseer (No attack)
Position 2: Doomshield Warden (Melee attack)
Position 3: Forlorn Geomant (Magic attack)
Position 4: Gramel the Hunger (Melee + Ranged + Magic attack)
Position 5: Riklauniman (Melee + Ranged attack)
Position 6: Lord Thanalor (Magic attack)
I chose Ulundin Overseer for my first position because it has good Health and Armor. Even though it doesn't attack I wanted it to protect my other monsters.
Then I placed Doomshield Warden behind it as another strong monster. For the remaining positions I chose monsters with different types of attacks so my team could deal enough damage.
The battle started and both sides immediately began exchanging attacks. Bhattg had also chosen some powerful monsters and I noticed that we both had Doomshield Warden in our lineups.
At first I wasn't sure who was going to win because both teams looked quite strong.
By Round 4 my Ulundin Overseer and Forlorn Geomant were already defeated. But thankfully my Doomshield Warden was still standing in the first position.
Bhattg had also lost three monsters while I still had four remaining. So I was starting to feel a little confident hehe.
And then we reached Round 5 where bhattg had only one monster remaining with just 1 Health. Meanwhile I still had four monsters alive.
At this point I was thinking that maybe I was actually going to win again lol.
Thankfully my team managed to defeat his last monster and I won the battle!
Post-Battle Thoughts
This was honestly a really fun match because it's been quite a long time since I last played against bhattg.
I was happy with how my lineup performed. Specially Doomshield Warden because it managed to survive until the final round.
One funny thing was our rating difference. Mine was only 240 while bhattg had 1580. So winning against him was quite surprising hehe. 😂
But to be honest it was just a friendly match so don't bully him guys, he already won plenty of matches against me! I enjoyed having another battle together. Hopefully we can have more friendly challenges soon and maybe next time I will post the one I lost. ☺️
