I’ll be honest: I never really liked the band. And I definitely didn’t like that guy. Until this track dropped.
Little L is one of those songs that just works. Instantly. No overthinking, no genre debate needed. You hear it once and your body already knows what to do.
For me, this is a house track for history.
And that’s the funny part: it didn’t come from a classic house DJ or a purist producer. It came from a band I had basically written off.
That’s a pattern I see all the time. In music. In work. In life.
The “experts” aren’t always the ones who create the most relevant outcomes. Sometimes it’s the outsiders, the hybrids, the ones who don’t fully belong to a scene, who end up delivering something timeless.
Little L has groove, tension, release.
It belongs on a proper dancefloor, even if it wasn’t born there.
