Some say a happy family is that family members stay together for quality time and they have a big, extended family. Some say a happy family is that the couple can have intimate communication and they have no connection with social status. In a word, happiness is not based on material wealth.
I don't think the happiness of a family depends on it's size or necessarily who's in it. I think the amount of love, respect, compassion, patience and effort that members of the family practice are the key points of creating a happy atmosphere/enviroment for themselves and their loved ones.
Now a days people do not want to be in a joint family as they feel that their freedom is lost. There are several advantages over disadvantages but it is no more desired by the young generations to leave in a joint family. No doubt the best and happy family is joint family where the happiness and sorrows are equally shared by all the members. In small family the problem is when there is a small kind and how to handle him or her. There is no one to help you and everything has to be done by the lonely members. If there is differences on any issue there is no one to resolve it which creates more and more differences and both get frustrated. There is nothing like friendly nature family no one can maintain any relation as all act according to their character. So, the best, happy and long live family is joint family where no one required to bother for any difficulties or financial problems.
A happy family is a family that sticks together and loves one another. I have a friend who has a loving family but since her dad left thinks she thinks that her family isn't happy but me? I have two families one who loves me a lot and the other who is NEVER around and just sends me money and stuff for "sorry for not being there" and when i have special events he is told about he never shows up and it hurts he is my birth dad and shouldn't he care at least a little? He missed my own baptising but my family here watched me and cheered for me when i rose up and handed me a towel when i got out of the freesing water. Now which sounds like a better family to you?
A joint family is a happy family. Because we will have connection with each and every one.
