Hi, guys!

I have a huge amount of work to do every single day—literally from morning till night—and I need to find a way to organize my schedule so that I can also fit in exercise, cook proper meals, and perhaps even spend time drawing or making music. For now, though, the only thing I’ve managed to get done is editing my book. That said, in just the last six days, I’ve managed to edit 160,000 characters—which is actually a significant amount, considering that an average fantasy novel runs about 700,000 to 800,000 characters. Max Kidruk, for instance, wrote his book Colony at 1.8 million characters, and now I’m wondering if I could do the same. The problem is that a publishing house likely wouldn’t accept a manuscript of that length from a debut author, but I really want to pack as much as I can into this book. I’m also keeping in mind that this is intended to be a long series, so I’ll have plenty of opportunities later to fully flesh out all the characters; for now, I’m focusing primarily on the protagonist.

Tomorrow morning, I plan to take the dog for a walk; after that, I have a "mental health day." I have appointments with both a psychotherapist and a psychiatrist, with only an hour between the two visits. It’s going to be quite a strain mentally, but I’ve been putting off the visit to the psychiatrist for a long time, so it’s something that needs to be done—and as soon as possible, too, because I’m running out of prescriptions for my medication.

Naturally, after this, I’ll get back to working on my book. Right now, I want to figure out how to better manage the time I spend editing my draft; as it stands, I sit down to work while it’s still light out, but I don’t get up until late into the night, by which point I’m completely drained. As a result, I don’t get enough sleep and have no energy the next day, either—this is something that needs to be fixed urgently. Furthermore, as I’ve mentioned before, I need to start exercising again; it’s been a long time since I last did so, and since it’s been over a month since my surgery, I’m well past the point where I can safely resume physical activity.

So, in reality, everything is fine, and I derive immense pleasure from the work I’m doing; however, for the sake of my own health, I need to establish some kind of organizational framework so that this doesn’t kill me—because, quite literally, if I continue writing the remaining nine volumes at this same pace, I’ll simply collapse.
