In this battle—which took place just a short while ago—I tweaked my strategy, used a different set of cards, and completely demolished the opponent. The match featured two specific rulesets: "Rise of the Commons" and "Outsider." "Rise of the Commons" restricted card selection to only Rare and Common rarities, while "Outsider" allowed for the summoning of a single Wild Card. I decided to build my team around the Fire element's Undead Legendary unit, Hanv. My primary goal was to grant the "Double Strike" and "Swiftness" abilities to a specific Water element unit from the Undead bloodline: Blue Wyrm Travesty. This unit boasts excellent overall stats, high attack power, and the "Slow" ability. Consequently, it slows the enemy team by one speed point while boosting my team's speed by one. Furthermore, the combination of potent melee attack power and "Double Strike" ensures that, in most rounds, an enemy card is knocked out—or left on the brink of defeat—following its attack.
The second part of my strategy involves the massive magic attacker 'Ballista Deadshot.' I hadn't used it previously because, aside from its attack power, its other stats are extremely weak; with only 4 health, it is an easy target for enemies with the 'Opportunity' ability. However, I chose to use it this time because the mana cap for the battle was generous. Even after summoning it, I had enough mana left to add 'Night Ghoul'—a card with the 'Taunt' ability—to the team. Although 'Night Ghoul' is a melee card that cannot attack from the back of the lineup, I summoned and placed it at the very end anyway. Its high health, combined with the 'Taunt' ability, allows it to draw enemy fire for an extended period, giving my other key cards the chance to perform at their best. So, while it is certainly a formidable melee attacker in its own right, its specific role in this battle is simply to soak up damage.✌️
I decided to place this card last because I needed to shield my primary attackers from the enemy's 'Sneak' ability attacks; the 'Taunt' card effectively drew the fire of almost all incoming strikes, thereby protecting my other units—such as the 'Grove Doomblade' (with 5 melee attack power and 'Sneak'), the 'Doomshield Warden' (4 melee attack power), and the 'Emberscale Invoker' (2 melee attack power). Essentially, apart from the 'Emberscale Invoker,' my team consisted of powerhouse cards that required a durable shield to withstand enemy attacks and operate freely—a role the 'Night Ghoul' performed admirably. Consequently, not only did 'Double Strike' attacks knock out enemy cards, but the 'Ballista Deadshot's' 5 magic attack power also wiped out some opponents in a single hit, allowing me to win the battle with ease.🔥
