I am sure you too must have experienced such feelings when despite being extremely happy and excited, for some reason you stop yourself from sharing your happiness with everyone.
And let me tell you that for a person like me, who is always very excited, it becomes extremely difficult to control myself in such a situation. 馃榿
You must remember those potato plants in the small green pot in my garden. In my last blog, I told you how when their height increased I tied them up with a cane stick and supported them. However, after that, as they grew dense it was becoming difficult to keep them standing straight.
So it was yesterday evening when instead of going to the park, I was busy with the plants in my garden. Actually, due to continuous rain for a few days this winter, all the plants in that pot had dried up and died.
I was obviously sad for these plants and had almost given up hope because according to whatever I had read, any vegetable that grows on roots gets spoiled due to excess water and on top of that, the flowering step had not even taken place in these plants, so there was no hope of fruit formation.
After uprooting those dried plants and throwing them away with the intention of planting something else in this pot, when I looked back at this pot, I found this little child peeking out of the soil. :D
That was all it took to get me fully charged and excited. I shouted for my wife as Now I Was About To Put My Hand In The Soil. This was going to be a memorable moment because this was the first time I tried to grow potatoes and I had almost lost hope because the plants were rotting due to heavy rains. But Anyway, I Just Had Seen A New Little Hope And Now I Was Excited Once Again.
My wife came out into the garden, I put my hand in the soil and I immediately felt that there was some good newssss. 馃
Here I am just tagging those few people who showed excitement to see the harvesting of these plants in their first blogs. Guys, I agree they are very few but being the first attempt, and that too when the plants were damaged due to too much rain, this is also no less than an achievement. 鉁岋笍馃槉
