Leveling up cards in Splinterlands is the moment I get most excited about, because upgrading my cards to the highest levels is essential for improving my in-game performanceโ€”only then can I utilize their full potential. That is why I frequently check my deck, hoping to find cards ready for an upgrade. During one such check today, I spotted three Common cards from the Chaos Legion set that were fully ready to advance to Level 4.

The first of these is the 'Cullborn Revenant,' a Fire-element magic attack card with a mana cost of 5. Even at Level 1, it possessed a magic attack power of 2, which made me somewhat fond of it; however, its health was very lowโ€”just 2 pointsโ€”and its speed was also 2, making it appear relatively weak. With such low health, enemy cards possessing the 'Opportunity' ability likely wouldn't have allowed it to survive even a single round. Yet, after successive upgrades, it now boasts 4 health points (plus 1 armor) and 3 speed points at Level 4. While these stats are still modest, the card is now robust enough to survive for 2โ€“3 roundsโ€”long enough for its magic attack power of 2 to inflict significant damage on the enemy. Consequently, it has become a much better card at Level 4, and hopefully, with further upgrades, it will become truly impressive.

Today's second card is the 'Thornmaw Berserker,' a melee attack card from the Death element that costs 7 mana. I began to really appreciate this card starting at Level 2, as that was when it gained the 'Final Rest' abilityโ€”which prevents enemy team powers like Rebirth, Resurrect, Resurgence, and Soul Siphon from activating. Now, upgraded to Level 4, it has also acquired the 'Magic Reflect' ability along with +1 Armor, making it a formidable choice for the tank position. Although I have even better cards available for the tank role, they come with a much higher mana cost; therefore, I am confident that the Thornmaw Berserker will perform exceptionally well on the battlefield in relatively low-mana matches.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!๐Ÿ”ฅ
