Although I usually shop at the reward shop right at the start of the season, last season I didn't earn enough Glint to split my purchases between Common, Rare, and Legendary draws; consequently, after buying one Legendary draw, I purchased 75 Common draws and exhausted my Glint balance. By the middle of this season, I had accumulated enough Glint to buy 20 Rare draws, so I went ahead and did that today. Since I had bought 75 Common draws, I aim to purchase at least 50 Rare draws as well, but I will decide on the remaining 30 based on my earnings towards the end of the season. For these 20 Rare draws, I had to spend a total of 80 Alchemy Potions—since opening a single Rare draw requires 4 potions—which doubles the chance of pulling a Gold Foil card from 0.5% to 1%. Even so, the odds remain quite low, and getting a Gold Foil card depends entirely on luck.

First of all, let me mention that not a single Gold Foil card turned up among these 20 Rare cards; this also maintained my track record of Alchemy Potions never working for me. Furthermore, out of these 20 regular Rare cards, seven copies are of the exact same card—the 'Gravebrand Warlock,' a Magic card belonging to the Death element. You are seeing the Level 1 version in the screenshot; however, I already have this card upgraded to Level 2, where it possesses the 'Swiftness' ability. This ability strengthens the entire team by providing a +1 speed boost. So, it is quite a good card overall; its only drawback is its health, an issue that will hopefully be resolved at the next level.

Additionally, I have three copies each of two specific cards. One is the Fire element's powerful melee attack card, "Grove Doomblade"; I have it upgraded to Level 2, where it gains the "Fury" ability and a +1 armor boost—and I must say, it is one of my favorite cards, rarely disappointing me. The second card for which I have three copies is the Grey element's magic attack card, "Mindless Thrall." I have this upgraded to Level 3, granting it boosts of +1 Power and +1 Speed. It performs very well on the battlefield, though its low health is a drawback and the only reason I use it less frequently. Apart from these, I have the "Anchor-Hex Adept" with "Divine Shield," the "Dragonfang Lancer" with a +1 Ranged Attack Power boost, and the "Torrent Sniper," which features increased attack power along with the "Painforge" ability. Finally, the "Pixie-knife Hurler" is upgraded to Level 3, gaining +1 Health, +1 Speed, and the "Dodge" ability. All of them perform excellently in my daily battles, so I am excited to level them up further as soon as possible.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
