The remnants of the fierce tropical storm seem to be finally moving out of Arizona although cloudy skies remain and there were a few light rain sprinkles today - still not a bad day for a road run down through Old Town Cottonwood.
The wind has lessened a great deal today so I wasn't battling a headwind as I started the first uphill mile on Mingus Ave.
Then it was 5 miles of easy road miles down through Old Town Cottonwood before one last mile climb back up to home.
Decent pace so I'm happy with my progress as my running is getting longer and easier.
Finished with and overcast hike on the quiet Jail Trail with Lulu.
The Verde River is really flowing after all of the recent precipitation and is brown from all of the sediment but fortunately there hasn't been any flooding and it looks like the majority of storms have passed.
