Summer is hanging around it seems so it was another day of heat and humidity but at least I ran in the cooler part of the day.
The Dakota Five-O mountain bikers would have to suffer through a tough and hilly course later in the day.
The cyclists were off early so I hit the trails early as well. 2 circuits of the hillside switch backs and then down the long hill before rejoining the flat path before heading off onto the dirt multi use trails for another couple of miles then back home - a good 6 miles after a few lackluster days
Lulu and I finished up with a couple of hours digging for small gold over past Deadwood - dry, dry, dry all over so just a few buckets to pan back home in Spearfish (a few dollars of gold speaks for my hard work).
Hopefully I'll have a good day tomorrow as we begin to wind down our volunteer season here at the hatchery.
