A foggy and damp morning for a run but thankfully I had a great night's sleep after the long trip to Wyoming and was ready to get running.
The new additions to the local biking trails are just about complete with just packing of the dirt surface and adding rocks for stability of the banks to be done. For now the trails added up to about 3 miles with various loops and the conditions were fine despite the rains.
While most of the trails were a gentle rolling single-track there is a tough section that climbs the steep hillside by the campground in a series of switchbacks to bring the trail back onto the road high above which let me zip down the road to finish up with almost 4 and a half somewhat faster miles.
Things are looking up but my weight still needs to drop about 25 to 30 pounds.
