A sunny day to spend a few hours down in Stanton with Lulu. Nice to get out and enjoy the now lush country and get in some fun and exercise at the same time.
Too bad my blower decided to conk out so I did more hiking around than usual to see what the area looked like. The creeks have dried up and the greenery will soon start to dry out but for now it was a very scenic couple of miles hiking while Lulu ran all over the place.
We got back early so I had plenty of time to go out 5 an easy 5 miles. Just a bit stiff from hauling buckets but it didn't bother me that much and my pace was decent.
The trees and plants are really starting to pip and I spotted a pretty Mourning Cloak butterfly fluttering around.
Tomorrow I hope to go out ona family trip looking for crystals. Hope we have some fun.
