Greetings to all my lockdowned (or is it locked down?) running friends out there.
The big bull sits outside of the local medical center just down the street and I've been passing him a lot recently as I've been running on the high school track to finish up my toad runs recently.
Today was a faster than usual run for me but we spent the day yesterday collecting quartz crystals over in Payson, AZ
so I was well rested for a change and had a nice late afternoon picnic feast with my wife and dogs in the woods.
Fortunately Mother Nature blessed me with a beautiful sunny day for my run as storm clouds and a steady rain rolled into Prescott in the afternoon. At least the plants will enjoy the moisture as the leaves are popping and flowers are springing forth these days.
I'm looking forward to having a fluid trainer arrive soon so that I can hook up my road bike and do some extra training on a stationary bike for some added endurance work for my legs. Not as interesting as getting out on the trails or road but as long as the fitness clubs are closed down it's an acceptable alternative for now (plus I can zone out with my MP3 player and not worry about falling down or running into a tree or something).
Good night and take care all.
