What happened to the days when we could walk the streets at night and leave keys in the front door without fear? We had people coming to Australia from all other nations but they were decent family type folk who had standards. They mostly kept to themselves and when we got to know them they became good friends. This is a question raised by a radio program this morning. The cost for incarceration of prisoners is soaring and the numbers of inmates are increasing. This has put an enormous burden on governments and taxpayers who pay for them doing their time.
