28 July 2026 @marinnewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 3178: Be My Fantasy.
This is my post on #freewriters3178 #dailyprompt be my fantasy hosted by @marinnewest's.
Ubong was a young teacher who loved books, music, and dreams. Every evening after work, he would sit by the river near his village and imagine a world filled with peace, happiness, and true love. In all his dreams, one person always appeared—Princess Ann.
Princess Ann was not only beautiful but also kind and intelligent. She enjoyed helping people and listening to stories. One day, during a community celebration, Ubong finally met her in real life. As they talked, he felt as if he had known her for many years. Her smile brought warmth to his heart, and her gentle words gave him courage.
Days turned into weeks, and their friendship grew stronger. They shared ideas, laughed together, and encouraged each other to pursue their dreams. Ubong often wrote poems about her, and one evening he read one aloud beneath the shining moon.
At the end of the poem, he looked at Princess Ann and softly said, “You are not just a dream to me. You are my fantasy, the person who makes my world brighter.”
Princess Ann smiled and replied, “A fantasy becomes meaningful when it inspires us to become better.”
From that day, Ubong understood that true fantasy was not about magic castles or perfect dreams. It was about finding someone who believed in him, walked beside him, and filled his life with hope, joy, and endless possibilities for the future together.
